This year the 2017 PHOENIX CUP will be held at Murrayshall Hotel and Golf, Perthshire on 4th, 5th & 6th September.
As previous years the team will selected by the TRUSTEES and past captains, as everyone will know this is a very popular event with disabled golfers throughout the UK. British Inclusive Golf, like to get a variation of disabilities and integrate people from all parts of the UK.
The captain in 2017 is Mr Ian Halliwell who has kindly accepted to do a second year due to unforeseen circumstances, he will be ably assisted by Mr Paul Weymes as Vice-captain who will take over as Captain for 2019 competition as the Phoenix Cup is going to every 2 years after Murrayshall.
We have set out a timescale of events for 2017 Phoenix Cup they are as follows.
April 16th – 23rd The team will be announced
May 15th A £50 deposit from each player and guest, will be required – No deposit and place will be taken by next on list.
July 31st Full balance required from all players and guests.
Cost per player will be £180 based on 2 sharing – No single rooms available – This is 2 Nights, Dinner, B&B plus 3 rounds of golf with shared buggy.
Guests costs will be determined upon, room type, food and golf required – Could work out slightly more expensive than the team as this was a special deal done for 24 players. (Will work hard to get exact price as players.)
